In case the weekend wasn’t enough ‘hoorah’ to grab a drink, we think these boozy treats are intoxicatingly tempting. Happy sipping, gang.

Smitten Ice Cream’s ‘Whiskey Chip’ for Father’s Day

Available June. 18th for people of ages, Smitten Ice Cream will be scooping the diary concoctions once only allocated to our daydreams—spiked ice cream. At Smitten, their Whiskey-infused frozen diary bliss has an alcohol content of around 4.4% by volume (interestingly the Alcohol Beverage Control does not require to card anyone as the ice cream alcohol content is below 5% and is considered a confection instead of an alcoholic item).

However, we do still recommend to eat responsibly; you could, theoretically, get hella drunk should you down a two or three pints worth of the stuff in one sitting. In any case,  expect rich whisky-infused sweet cream base with milk chocolate chips to tickle your tastebuds throughout the summer. // Whisky Chip will be available at all 9 locations in SF and LA for a limited time surrounding the weekend of June 18.

Cliff House Offers Famous Bloody Mary Mix Available for Purchase

The famed Cliff House Bloody Mary’s are coming to a kitchen near you! The in-house mix is spicy enough to set one’s nostrils ablaze, yet light enough to curve the mid-afternoon edge. “By making the mix available for purchase, I wanted to extend the experience of one of the Bay Area’s most beloved brunch destinations outside of the restaurant. Locals can find the taste of the landmark restaurant right at home,” said head chef Ralph Burgin. Burgin describes the product as full-bodied, complex and balanced, a nice clean kick at the end, full of Umami from the clam juice, with a long, savory finish. // The Cliff House Classic Bloody Mary Mix is available in a single 33.8oz. (1 liter) bottle for $7.95 and is available for sale at the Cliff House or online at Cliff House Classic.

Bay Area Bae & Bellota’s Collin Nicholas Wins Most ‘Imaginative Bartender’ This Year

On May 24th, the United States Bartenders’ Guild honored this Bay Area cocktail genius with the most ‘imaginative bartender.’ Winning with his Omakase cocktail, the Bay Area native proudly took the title home and to his own SoMa bar. If you’re dying to try it out, ready your palate for a taste of Bombay Sapphire Gin, Agave, Lemon Juice, Sake, Fresh-pressed Ginger Juice, Edamame/Wasabi Puree, Egg Whites, and Toasted Sesame Oil. Now that’s a drink, right? // 888 Brannan St #110, SoMa, bellotasf.com

Negroni Week Is Back and In Full Force

Revitalized by partner’s Imbibe Magazine and Campari, this week-long cocktail extravaganza was brought to fruition in order to help raise money for charities around the Bay Area and beyond. Even some of our SF-based friends are entering the fray with their inspired versions of Negroni. The iconic week brings in lifestyle partners including BAGGU, PUBLIC [WHY IS THIS IN ALL CAPS?] bikes and Sunskis, all featuring Negroni Red products. You can also snack away, courtesy of Negroni-glazed Madeleines by William Werner of Craftsman & Wolves, a Negroni Sub Sando by Stuart Brioza of The Progress/State Bird Provisions, and a Deconstructed Negroni Sundae by Elisabeth Prueitt of Tartine Manufactory. // Negroni week will be happening from June 5-11 at various locations across the Bay Area, find more info on the Negroni week website; negroniweek.com
