A literal old meets new scenario, the Electric Volkswagen makes it’s Haight street debut.
On Reddit, ThatsNotMyWalletBB posted a photo of a quite unusual sighting: Volkswagen’s new concept electric vehicle microbus, parked at the MUNI bus stop on Haight and Masonic behind a model of an older vintage.
What’s weird about it is that the microbus is slated to hit dealership in 2022, making this a speculated sighting. Only parked for an hour tops, the poster assumed that is “definitely looked like they were doing a photoshoot.”
One Instagrammer commented, “They flew it in under the cover of darkness coinciding with the eclipse. Cool looking ride, but does it have legroom?”
A little strange to say the least since the older vehicle looks straight out of Futurama. We mean, the resemblance is uncanny.
