A minimalists paradise, this contemporary coffee spot is drawing in crowds of FiDi lovin’ coffee connoisseurs.
And don’t try and ask for boba, the team over at ENOUGH are excited to be playing around with the power of milk teas, milked coffees, and various other concoctions. Ironically next door to Asha Teahouse, we had to check out this spot for ourselves.
So what is this spots quick claim to fame? Easy: sea salt tea concoctions that neither of their betters are doing. Their sea salt green tea (which was described to us as the beer of tea drinkers) is a fabulous take on the green tea we know and love, with an added kick in the pants. A heavy creamers dawns the top of the drink with a premium matcha sprinkle on top for a little savory flavor.
One reviewer who attended the soft and grand opening had this to say about the spot on Kearny, “A nice addiction in Financial District with a little twist. If you’re looking for something that’s more fresh yet good then I would recommend you to come by & try Enough. I’ve tried most of their drinks during their soft opening and grand opening and it’s all good & refreshing compare to most spot’s I’ve been to. 90% of the drinks is $4-5 flat and that’s tax included.”
We got to talk to the owner, Kris W., a LA-transplant who looked elsewhere to start her business. “I wanted to change of scenery and SF seemed like the place to be.” With a huge smile on her face, her spot opened only two weeks ago. “It’s pretty dead here on the weekends but on weekdays, it’s constantly busy.” As we took our first sip of the sea salt black tea, our immediate reaction: this is HELLA good. A tea that isn’t too sweet, isn’t too dark, but leaves a velvet after taste.
Equipped with the Sacramento-based Temple Coffee, Kris is excited to serve the FiDi area with hearty beer-like tea drinks. “I’m very happy to be here,” Kris said to us with a chuckle.
