Decades In The Making: Hackett Mill Brings Art To The Forefront of Intimate

Like walking into Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, art reached the pinnacle of curation at the Hackett Mill exhibition.

This special exhibition marks the opening of the gallery’s new location adjacent to SFMOMA. Curated by gallery partners Francis Mill and Michael Hackett, Decades in the Making is a retrospective survey of the gallery’s own programming history and brings together masterful artists who each challenged the status quo of the art world in their respective time and place in profound and trailblazing ways.

Think of this as a continuous rotating exhibition of over 500 works by artists who shaped the course of midcentury art.

Our team was lucky to see the penthouse and exhibition space in action before opening to the public. Check out the images below and ogle at the amazing art showcased. Also, you’re more than welcome to go yourself—see the link below and make an appointment today.
