Palo Alto, Meet the Bay’s First Shake Shack

Palo Alto just may be the luckiest city in Northern California today. Any guess as to why?

The rumors are true; Shake Shack is set to open its first San Francisco Bay Area location in the lovely city of Palo Alto. The Stanford Shopping Center will house the latest addition to the beloved burger chain, whose origin story lies with a food cart in NYC’s Madison Square Park back in 2004. Since then, the cart transformed into a full-blown empire, with a fan following of cult-like proportions.

For those unaware of this American treasure and the abiding love we have for it, Shake Shack offers 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and griddled flat-top dogs (no hormones or antibiotics – ever), freshly-made frozen custard, perfectly-golden fries, craft beer, wine and so much more. Is your mouth watering yet?

What’s more, as per their usual eco-friendly strategy, Palo Alto’s Shake Shack will be aligned with green architecture and responsible construction. Sustainable materials such as reclaimed bowling alley lanes will be sourced to create the Shack’s tabletops, and all supplied lumber will be certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. Sounds like you’re already one of us, Shake Shack. Cheers to the beginning of a beautiful, burger-filled friendship.
