Hugs, Not Guns: The Best IGs From This Weekend’s #MarchForOurLives Rally in San Francisco

“White men can be terrorists, too.”

The streets around city hall were electric with well-executed rage Saturday. Teens were up in arms, babies dawned progressive bibs; dogs walked with their equally woke owners, wearing legislatively suggestive outerwear. Millions—yes, millions—from virtually every corner of the world came to together in coordinated opposition to say, frankly, “enough is enough.” Because, yes: guns do, in fact, kill people.

We watched the marches and rallies and speeches this weekend with a sense of optimism, for what is to come, what had become, and what will eventually be the new norm. The future, despite the eroinous fallbacks and faceplants put forth by our seniored congress members, is bright with a youthful sensibility. And the IG’s proved it.
