Cinco de drinko is now family friendly

When: Saturday, May 5th, 10 A.M. – 6 P.M.

Where: Valencia between 21st and 24th, Mission District

Why: There’s a new fiesta in the making, and it’s a block party in the Mish. The party funs all day with live music, cultural performances, a beer garden, food and exhibitor booths, and a kids zone. Mariachi and Brazilian Capoeira are all in the mix. This event is free to attend!

I’m on a boat motherfucker take a look at me

When: Sunday, May 6th, 1 P.M. – 3 P.M.

Where: Pier 4

Why: Better than a Sunday on a boat? A Sunday on a boat with wine and chocolate. And toffee and cheese. Bring a jacket, because this is San Francisco, but also enjoy tasting wines from a local winemaker. // Must be 21 and over, tickets start at $50.

Big hats are back for a day

When: Saturday, May 5th, 1 P.M. – 6 P.M.

Where: General’s Residence, Fort Mason

Why: It’s the Guardsmen’s annual Kentucky Derby party! There’s an open bar, mint juleps are on the menu, and the money goes toward the kids. Drink for the kids. Also, savor traditional southern food and there are rumors of tacos since the Kentucky Derby coincides with a certain Cinco this year (we love you 2018). // 1 Franklin Street, waitlist for tickets here.

Woman inherits the earth

When: Saturday, May 5th, 10 A.M. – 12 P.M.

Where: Bessemer Venture Partners

Why: Girls in Tech is taking a sober Saturday to Lean In with a mentorship circle. Professionals, leaders and students gather for open, confidential conversations and coffee. Mentorship circles open up the opportunity to learn from the industry’s best and advance skills for those who aren’t afraid to stand up and ask for what they want. So bring a cavalier attitude and your most professional self, s’il vous plait. // 525 Brannan Street #100, San Francisco, reserve your spot here.
