Since 2004, when Anthony Casalena gifted us with Squarespace, a website-building company, we’ve been fortunate. It was the start of an era where billions of individuals rely on website tools to create amazing websites for their businesses and brands, such as blogs, portfolio sites, and online storefronts. Zendesk and The American Red Cross, for example, have done exactly that.

However, in this age of modern advancements in online technology and popularity of e-commerce, online payments have been key for smooth operation and faster transaction of goods and services. There are various types of online payment methods and processes that websites can connect to and use to help their consumers pay for their items easily. This is a critical stage of building an online business, which is why companies always go for websites that offer integrated payment methods that are easily accessible based on the country they are in. This is where Squarespace comes in by simplifying payment processes by offering only two popular payment processor choices: Stripe and PayPal. There is also the inbuilt point of sale system for Squarespace.

These first two payment methods are well known worldwide for their flexibility and wide reach, especially their connectivity to banks worldwide in which these payment systems exist. So customers can easily pay for their goods and services through Squarespace without hassle. So we should explore what these methods are.
