When this happens, we thank our stars when we have our manufacturer’s warranty to which we fall back. So, what does this warranty look like for Zeetex Tires customers? Let’s learn here about ‘Zeetex Tire Warranty’.

Zeetex Tire Warranty-Know more

Since 2016, Zeetex tires has established its tire warranty that gives their customers the benefit of replacing their tires if they get damaged under certain conditions. One of such conditions is that the tire has to have been purchased and installed on the same vehicle before the damage.

What Warranties does Zeetex Have?

Zeetex has three warranties for its customers, which includes:

The Road Hazard Warranty

Since 2017, Zeetex’s Road Hazard Warranty has helped Zeetex customers to manage the hassles of unforeseen damage to their tires. This class of warranty covers those whose tire threads have been damaged beyond repair by objects like bottles, glasses, potholes, and nails. If you are qualified for this warranty, you will be entitled to free tire replacement for 12 months after your purchase or before your tire wears down to 2/32”nds. But you will have to pay for the fees for mounting and balancing the tire, and taxes associated with the tire replacement. This warranty cannot be transferred to any other person than the original purchaser.

The warranty does not cover tires that were/can:

  • Damage from any form of an accident including those caused by floods, malicious mischief, earthquake, windstorms, vandalism, fire, and the likes.
  • Be repaired under the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA).
  • Damaged from misuse, negligence, faulty balancing, faulty alignment, wheel spinning, wrong inflation, torque snags, brake lock up, etc.
  • Damaged from commercial use.
  • Damaged after being transferred to another vehicle.
  • Damaged from under-inflation.

Workmanship & Material Warranty

All Zeetex tires that have complete Department of Transportation identification numbers are covered under this warranty. The warranty protects eligible tires from defects that result from the materials used in the manufacturing process or professional error. Zeetex will repair any defect in their tires once they are qualified for this warranty, and if they cannot repair it, they will replace it for the customer if:

  • Within 12 months of the purchase date, the tire will be replaced free of charge except for the cost of mounting, balancing, and other associated fees.
  • The tire is within the first 2/32″ of the usable tread, the tire will be replaced for free except for mounting, balancing, and other associated fees.
  • The 100% replacement window has elapsed but it’s less than 60 days from the purchase date, you will have to provide proof of purchase. If it all checks out, Zeetex will prorate your credit for you to buy a corresponding tire. Though the prorating will depend on the tires’ remaining tread depth. To determine the amount for credit prorating, Zeetex or its dealer will multiply the usable tread by the remaining number of the tire tread.  If you wish to understand the amount of credit to be prorated on your own, use the following formula. Mileage Treadwear Warranty

This category applies to the treadwear of Zeetex passenger tires or light truck tires. For example, passenger tires with the pattern ZT3000 are eligible for this warranty when they cover 45,000 miles, and SUVs with patterns SU1000 and SU1000 need to cover 35,000 miles for this warranty. Zeetex tires are eligible for this warranty if they have reached the 2/32” usable tread life before reaching the required mileage. This replacement works proportionally.

To enjoy this warranty:

All you need to do to enjoy this is present your original Zeetex Mileage Warranty Card. It has all the necessary details: original mileage data, the buyer’s name, date of transaction, and the vehicle involved.

To be eligible for this warranty:

  • The tire must have been bought by no one else but you, meaning that you should have the required documents.
  • You must have rotated the tire every 5,000 to 6,000 miles.
  • The tires must be worn out to 2/32”.
  • The Zeetex original dealer must have completed the tire rotation card.

These are some of the eligibility criteria and they may be subject to change. You should check with Zeetex for any updated information.

Conclusion

Zeetex Tires has three different warranties that make the troubles of premature tire replacement easier for its customers: the road hazard warranty, workmanship & material warranty, and the mileage treadwear warranty. For most of the warranties, the vehicle owner would have to bear the cost of mounting and balancing the tires and any related fees such as taxes.
