You can also take advantage of special promotional offers to receive more than 1% back; for example, right now if you buy three $25 gift cards and spend $50 total at McDonald’s between April 25th and May 10th with MasterCard or Visa, you can receive a free Quarter Pounder from McDonald’s in addition to your rebates.
Some types of purchases (such as large orders placed over a drive-through) don’t qualify for rebates. Gift cards purchased online do not qualify for rebates either. Gift cards must be purchased with a credit card by June 30th in order to redeem any earned rewards.
