You cannot return the following products, even in-store or through mailing

Return the products in their original conditions within the limited period depending on the products and receive a full refund except for those products they charge sanitization fees, restocking fees, and shipping fees. You can return other products within 45 days from the original purchase date other than the aforementioned products.

But if you have to deal with product damage after 45 days, you can directly approach the manufacturer. Whether the product is accepted or not for return, find out by yourself.You are eligible to receive refunds via cash if the products are priced over $250. It will be returned via debit card (Visa) or by check depending on the location.They refund within 2 to 3 days of business days to your original payment method used at the time of purchase.

In-store Return Policy 

If you have purchased a product from the store or online now, you can return it to any Guitar Center. You are only required to bring the documents of your purchase, or can just show the confirmation email, and packing slip if you received it with the order. No charges are asked because you are returning in-store. That being said, one can completely avoid shipping charges by opting for an in-store return policy.

Return Without Receipt

You can also return without a receipt, but make sure to bring your I.D photo for identity verification and to track your order. Not all locations ask for I.D photos.

Guitar Center charges a few bucks at prescribed rates based on some conditions on certain products and for all products that are returned online. They charge woodwind instruments and Brass instruments a rate of $10.00 for sanitization.  They charge bows a restocking fee of $4; they charge mouthpieces priced over $300, a sanitization fee of $8, and they charge the Mouthpieces priced under $300 a $4 fee. And they charge a 10% restocking fee on any Apple products of open-box returns.
