To get a full refund it is recommended that customers must return the product to Micro Center within a certain time frame in good condition, complete with manual, accessories, packaging, and a universal product code. If a product return request is approved, then Micro Center will provide a replacement, repair or refund.
Microcenter uses FedEx to ship orders. If you receive a damaged package, the Micro Center will contact FedEx to pick up your package.

How to return a product to Micro Center?
Customers can return the product to Microcenter in one of the following two ways:
- Microcenter Product Purchased In a Store
- Microcenter Product Purchased Online
1. Microcenter Product Purchased In a store
Both unopened and open box purchases are eligible for returns. Take them to one of the 25 Micro Center retailers. If the buyer already has a Microcenter Insider account, then do not need to bring a receipt. If a buyer had purchased the item at a store, then must return it at that store as well.
2. Microcenter Product Purchased Online
You can either ship the item to the Microcenter or return it to any store. The Microcenter return policy for the online purchased product is different from the Microcenter return policy in stores. To return purchased products online customers need to follow a few simple steps.
- The first step is to contact Microcenter customer service to ship the product to the distribution center.
- Provide order number, SKU number, and the nature of the problem to the Microcenter customer service
- Customer Service after verification provides an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Take a note that it’s only good for 10 days.
- If you want to return the item to a local store instead of mailing it to the distribution center, a delivery note is sufficient and no RMA is required.
- To return online, simply submit the product with your RMA. Without it, the product will not be offered.
- When you receive the RMA, repack the device in its original packaging. Be sure to include the included manuals, cables, discs, or other accessories because of that you do not have to pay the open box fee.
- Customer needs to add a copy of the original packing list that is received with the order
- Ship to the Micro Facility Distribution Center using whichever shipping method is convenient for you, including Postal, FedEx/UPS
Micro Center refunds explained
If you paid for your purchase using a credit or debit card, you will need to bring the same card with you when you return the item. Usually, it takes 5 business days for credit card refunds to be processed and up to 14 business days for check refunds.
Customers who return a gift purchased for someone will receive a refund on Microcenter gift card.
For products purchased online, the company will add the refund to the payment method you used.
