T-Mobile in its quest to maintain its “un-carrier” image, have been inventing more ways of doing that and that is something they are good at. In 2015, their CEO at the time, John Legree introduced to the audience at a flashy event as they intend to sway subscribed consumers from their competition. T-Mobile took it upon itself to not only pay for the termination fees of clients who are willing to switch from other carriers but will also pay for outstanding payments on the deice up to $650 per phone up to 10 lines. The company held this decision till today.

As part of the deal to reimburse transfer costs for new customers, the company has two ways to go about this. There is the carrier freedom, and there is the keep and switch options for new customers that witched from other carriers. The carrier freedom enables new customers that switched from other carriers to earn up to $650 per line, up to 10 lines but customers would have to trade in their devices. On the other hand, which is the keep and switch, new customers do not have to trade in their devices and they can earn up to $450 per line, up to 10 lines on the remaining payments on the devices after switching from Verizon, and AT&T. Customers get to keep their device this time as the payment reduced.

When it comes to the return of T-Mobile products online or on phone, the firm has put in firm policies and guidance for customers to follow.
