Q) Are college professors allowed to lecture students at the museum? 

Yes, professors belonging to accredited colleges are allowed to lecture their students at the museum. A prior request if required which the university needs to submit regarding the topic of lecture and professor. If the lecture gets allowed then the professor must speak quietly and not stand in front of the artwork or make a crowd, making it difficult for other viewers. 

Q)Is there a schedule for private tours? 

The tours earliest are scheduled at 10:45 a.m. and up to 4:45 pm at the latest. Tuesday remains the only day with no tours as the museum is closed.

The Museum has been located and relocated a quite number of times till the new Museum got fixed in the Meatpacking District on May 1, 2015. The original Museum opened in 1931 at 10 West 8th Street, New York.
