Most of the time if the item was purchased through a catalog or online. You can return it to them for an exchange or refund within 60 days of purchase by mail or in person, with correct proof of purchase, for a refund or exchange. They will only accept products for inspection if they are returned after 60 days. Regardless of whether you bought your things from Bass Pro Shops or Cabela’s, you can return them to either store. PayPal or Stretch Your Payments (activated by Sezzle) can be returned to a retailer.
Stretch Your Payments (supported by Sezzle) or PayPal-paid online orders can be returned to a retail location, but only for a gift card exchange or refund.
Sunglass Hut purchases bought at their retail outlets must be returned to those locations.
Cabela’s Canada allows returns of products purchased on cabelas.ca or in a Canadian Cabela’s retail location.
Gas-powered gadgets and drones cannot be returned if they have been used, show signs of usage, or have had oil or fuel added to them.
It can be returned for up to 60 days after purchase in new, unused condition with the original sales receipt. The item must be returned with all of its original packing, manuals, and attachments.
Any item that has been tampered with cannot be returned (i.e. cut arrows, etc.)
Items purchased from the Bargain Cave in a store are non-returnable.

Returning a reconditioned item is not an option.
Returns without a receipt or proof of purchase are subject to a restocking fee.
- If you don’t have a receipt, things will be processed at the lowest sale price plus any sales tax that may apply. These items can be returned for a store credit gift card or exchanged for something else.
- A legitimate government photo ID may be requested.
- Without acceptable evidence of purchase, we have the right to limit or deny returns and exchanges.
After 60 days from the purchase date
Boots, shoes, and waders sold at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s come with a one-year manufacturer fault warranty. This is a limited guarantee, which excludes regular wear and tears.
All rods from Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s come with a one-year warranty, save the Johnny Morris Platinum Signature, Johnny Morris Signature Series, Johnny Morris CarbonLite 2.0, and Johnny Morris Patriot.
After 60 days, all electronics, including non-Bass Pro brand rods and reels, must be shipped back to the manufacturer for replacement or repair.
During the manufacturer’s warranty period, boats, trailers, and ATVs/UTVs will all be fixed for free.

Merchandise from Bass Pro Shops can be returned to the store
To return your Bass Pro merchandise to a shop, follow these steps:
- Visit a Bass Pro Shop near you.
- Approach the greeter’s desk and inform the employee that you wish to return your items.
- A member of staff will do a quality check on your purchases.
- After the quality check, bring your product to the Customer Relations Desk.
- Please provide your original receipt or order number, as well as a photo ID.
Send your Bass Pro products back to us through the mail
The process of shipping your return is the same whether you’re returning Bass Pro or Cabela’s products:
- On the company’s website, go to the Easy Returns page.
- Please include both your order number and e-mail address in your message.
- Next should be selected.
- Continue to the next prompt.
- You may either print the return label yourself or take the QR code to your nearest FedEx or Walgreens facility to have it printed for you.
Employees at Bass Pro Shops process returns right away in the store. When the carrier scans the QR code on your package label, processing for postal returns begins. Within seven business days, the company should finish the process.
If you haven’t received a response by then, phone customer service to check on the status of your request.
If Bass Pro confirms your request, you will receive a refund right away, but it may take a few days for your bank to reimburse your account.
With the presentation of a valid photo ID, an item returned without a receipt can be replaced for an identical product or returned for a Bass Pro Shops gift card. The amount of the gift card will be equal to the item’s lowest sale price plus sales tax if applicable.
