However, the service can only be used within their physical stores, it can not be used for online shopping.

Other Payment Methods  Accepted at Bunnings

Afterpay is one of the many options one could use to buy goods online or in physical stores.  It is a Buy now, pay later service offered by Afterpay which gives shoppers the leverage of splitting the cost of goods they buy. This service works for either online or in-store purchases depending on the store and its policy.

However, there are other payment options accepted at Bunnings that work either in-store or online.  They include:

1. Cash: Just like many other stores, at Bunnings, this is the oldest and most commonly used method of payment. However, it only works in-store.

2. Credit and Debit cards: These are next in line to the most used option for making payments. This option works for your shopping online or in physical stores. However, Bunnings are selective on the kind of card used. The brands they accept include Visa, American Express, Mastercard and Diners Club International

3. PayPal: At Bunnings, this option is made available for online payment only. Simply, open an account with PayPal, connect your bank account or a card to it and when you want to pay with this service on Bunnings website, click on Paypal.

4. Zip: This service is available at Bunnings for both payments online and within physical stores. To use this first sign up using the app or online at zip.co/bunnings.

To pay with Zip online: add your items to the cart, fill in the contact information and upon checkout, select zip as your method of payment.

To pay in-store: open the app, and select the in-store option to get a barcode that would be scanned by the cashier.

5. Openpay: This option is available online and in-store. Follow the same steps above in Zip to use Openpay. Simply ensure you choose Openpay instead of Zip in areas where necessary.

Conclusion

The Afterpay option comes with a lot of advantages for Australians. As a nation said to be quite popular with their DIY methods (especially when it comes to their homes and gardens), having one of their favourite equipment stores integrate Afterpay is indeed great news for residents of the country and customers of the brand. Not forgetting to mention that both brands are owned by citizens and run their businesses within the country.

This would be a great time for customers of Bunnings to take on those abandoned reconstructions and repairs at home. However, they must be careful not to take on projects they do not think they can pay for within six weeks.
