Introduction:
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is a Japanese manga series that was originally published in a weekly magazine named “Weekly Shoñen Jump”. The adventurous and comical manga series was illustrated and written by Yoshio Sawai and directed by Hiroki Shibata as a reboot of a comic book.
After the series, there was a sequel to it named Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo which originally featured from December 19, 2005 – July 2, 2007.
The series was aired in North America after the licensing process was done by Illumitoon Entertainment. The fans went crazy after this manga series, so Hudson Soft thought of developing a seven-volume exclusive video game for the fans. As far as the series is concerned, 76 episodes of the anime series have been released and overall, the series has been fairly rated by the audience as it holds the rating of 7.1/10 on IMDb.
Well, officially it has been announced that Bobobo is not coming back for the 77th episode. The sources uncovered the reason behind the end of comical and action series is never-ending violence.
Where was the series originally premiered?
The series was originally launched on Cartoon Network in Australia, Jetix in the UK, and Cartoon Network (Toonami) in the US. Officially, the last episode of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo featured in 2005 in Japan and 2007 in the US. After the end of the series, CN still chose to launch the previous episodes of the series because Cartoon Network (Toonami) ratings matter the most.
It was planned that the Blu-Ray box would feature the entire series and will release all the previous episodes in Japan in 2018.
Is there any plan for releasing the 77th episode of Bo-bobo Bo-bobo or not?
The audience would be sad to know that Bobobo won’t be returning for the 77th episode. As per the news, there are a lot of objections because of prevalent violence and disturbing storyline. The storyline of the 76th episode was not fully revealed but according to sources, the audience would have witnessed excessive violence and bloodshed which led to the cancellation of further episodes.
There were rumors related to the producer that he has taken a step back. But these rumors were not been clarified by the director or any other person in charge. However, the fact is that was the end of Bobobo-bo and the audience has to keep themselves satisfied with the incomplete story of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo.

- Beauty: She is the heroine of the Bobobo-bo’s team and also of the series. She is one of the few who joined Bo-bobo in battle.
- Don Patch: He is one of the characters who were part of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo’s clan to fight against hair hunters. He is famous for superpowers such as Martial arts, immortality, and shapeshifting.
- Gasser: He is a quiet but sensible character from Bo-bobo’s team. He is one of the sane persons in the series.
- Jelly Jiggler: The captain of the Hair Hunter Troop A, he uses his fist of wobble wobble against enemies.
- Czar Baldy Bald IV: He is the leader of Chrome Dome.
- Captain Battleship: He is under Czar Baldy Bald IV and also a former friend of Bo-bobo. And he is among one of the Chrome Dome Empire Big Four.
- Kittypoo: He is also one of the Chrome Dome Empire Big Four. As far as, his face is concerned he is a horned cat-faced creature.

So, what’s the plot of Bobobo-bo so far?
The series began with the adventure of Bobobo-bo [voiced by Takehito Koyasu in Japanese and by Richard Epcar in English] and his friends, who were born and brought up in the mysterious Hair Kingdom. But as a sacrifice by Bobobo’s father, Tuyoshi he had to go to the Maruhage Empire in the hands of hair hunters. The story took place back in the year 300X.
As the story progresses, suddenly a brave afro man with gold nose hair brought up a fight against hair hunter tyranny. Bobobo with his incredible ability to hear voices of hair had used this power against the Maruhage Empire. The afro man and bobobo with his team led a fierce battle against hair hunters to save the world. As revealed all the episodes on and off dealt with a fight which ultimately leads to bloodshed. So it is very much evident that in the next episodes also there will be violence.
In the 75th episode “Finally! The final fight of finality! Except the final one!” the team of Bobobo-bo rush to Chrome Dome to finish the Maruhage empire. But to their surprise, three more of the Four Shadow big appeared. The end of the last episode suggests that there will be another episode of Bobobo, but unluckily audience won’t be able to watch it until the storyline changes and the amount of violence in it reduces.
Conclusion:
One thing is clear that the comedy – adventure – action manga series has won millions of hearts in the US, Australia, Japan, and the UK. But due to PTA, the further episodes of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo were canceled. Obviously, exclusive bloodshed and violence is the major reason for cancellation. According to the Japan PTA National association, the amount of violence is not bearable by the audience. So this means, the audience has to sit back and enjoy previous episodes of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo.
