Return policy 

Madewell accepts merchandise for returns within 30 days of purchase and provides a full refund or an exchange. But, note that the merch should be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, or defective. Products purchased in stores, online, over the phone, or those ordered in stores for delivery can all be returned.

  • Refund

For merchandise purchased using cash, the original receipt will be needed. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment. You can expect up to two weeks for the processing of the request. You will receive a confirmation through email when it is completed. Allow up to 3-5 days after receiving the mail for the refund to be credited.

 For returning multiple items complete the process for each item and include all the return slips. It may take another week for all orders to be credited. To fasten the process, ensure your return slip corresponds with the item in your package and mail them separately. 

There is a separate option to return your gifts. You can exchange your gift without your giver knowing. You will have to include a gift receipt for such requests.

International returns

International orders cannot be returned in stores. eShopWorld will provide you a full refund of the original merchandise price in the form of a Madewell e-gift card. The refund includes taxes and duties originally paid on the item. However, the refund does not include return shipping fees or the original shipping charges.
