Does Knoebels campground have Wi-Fi?

We are here in the search of “Does Knoebels campground have Wi-Fi?”. Before that, How does a park like this get created? It wasn’t easy, because it took decades, you might even say, centuries, but it got done. The story started back in 1828, when Reverend Hartman Henry Knoebel, bought land in the middle of nowhere. To be more precise, in the middle of central Pennsylvania.

And since then, folks just liked the place. People would stop to rest, cool off, relax, have a picnic. And so, it started. First, they would only charge for feeding and taking care of the horses. It is a small beginning, yes, but also a noble one. From then, it would go growing slowly, steadily, until in 1926 Knoebels officially opened as a park. And it hasn’t looked back.

The park

Nothing is free. Right? I always hear nothing is free. Until they aren’t. For example, Knoebels amusement park, is not only the biggest, the coolest, and maybe even the oldest, park, it, as a matter of fact, is free too.

Yes, you read correctly. You can go in, park yourself, and get amused, for zero money, for as long as you want.

Amenities that cater to all:

Alright, alright, they must earn somehow, you may think. And you would be right, too. Because in Knoebels park you can play Golf, swim, dine, and do much much more. Of course, not all for free.

But the entrance and the parking area. Which is saying a lot. Hey, even some supermarkets charge you the parking space nowadays. Here you can just go in, and spend quality time with your family and loved ones, for a very reasonable price.

They even have a wooden roller coaster! And some of their rides are 50 years old, and still give thrills. But not everything is old at Knoebels. If you have an electric car, you can charge there and save time and money. And of course, they have your regular gas as well. That seems like the whole package to me.

It is Eco friendly :

Because yes, nothing everything is free. But they do a very good job. For example, according to their website, and, well, I believe them, they say they plant between 50 to 100 trees every year. You may think that’s not a lot, but it is a force of good going in the right direction. And, also, they have their own recycling center. That way, they can reduce, reuse and recycle all the time, better and faster.

Does Knoebels campground have Wi-Fi?

Now, you can even get Wi-fi in there! I mean Wi-fi. As they say in the FAQ section of their webpage: Yes! Knoebels campground has complimentary Wi-Fi available virtually everywhere in the park. Hey, they even have ATMs there.

So, you can get free internet, and charge your electric cars. Talk about looking at history past. If those trees could talk, what would they say? If that lake could talk, what stories would it give us? Imagine.

The cons of Knoebels campground

It is a park passed through by generations. It is not public, it is private. And it is for kids, too. Not everything is perfect, though. Like all good things, it has its flaws. What are the flaws of Knoebels park? You can’t guess them? I’ll tell you. Floods. Yes, friends, floods. And there have been plenty and spread out throughout time.

They get it fixed, and reopen soon enough afterward. It is not the end of the world. Or should we say, it is not the end of the park? But there you have it, the place does have its nuances.

Still, you can go, charge your car, with gas or electricity. You can eat. You can spend quality time with your loved ones. And, you can stay connected to the world. OR maybe work, because let’s admit it, it’s hard to disconnect these days to work. Or maybe you want it for your kids, so they can watch their favorite cartoons before going to bed.

Conclusion:

Bottom line is, the park has it all. It offers a wide variety of things. The only problem is, you have to go to Pennsylvania to go there. But it’s alight, you make a trip of it. You gather your family and you ride my friend, you ride those highways to the park. Think about it, it is not a bad idea.

They even offer discounts to military veterans. In a way to honor their heroes. And not just that, you can’t smoke everywhere either. That way the air stays clean for everybody. But if you do smoke, you can go and have your cigarettes at designated areas. Another great thing still? It is pet-friendly. Your pet does have to be under control all the time, and they can ask you to take your pet out of the park.  We are surprised at how indispensable Wi-fi has become. Maybe there should be a park without Wi-fi, to get disconnected from that for a while. Don’t you think?
