For this to be carried out, the customers should provide some kind of documentation for the verification process. The customers must provide two forms of government issued photo Id’s at the checkout. Lowe’s accepts check payments, but it doesn’t accept checks for payments on Lowe’s. com website. One thing to note is that if we want to make our payment through checks, our name on the photo Id must match the name given on the check.

  • 7.Lowe’s Credit Cards.

As per the sources, Lowe’s had made a tweet about the payment through NFC modes such as Google Pay and Apple Pay, which says that they don’t allow such modes of payment. 

How can you pay by Checks at Lowe’s?

To pay for your purchases at Lowe’s, you should bring the check along with two forms of Id to the cashier at Lowe’s store. The cashier then verifies the name on the check and the Id’s and will process the payments.

How Does Lowe’s Verify your Checks? 

To verify the customer’s checks, they have a third party service known as Certegy, which verifies all the checks used as a form of a payment used in the stores. If your check is declined at Lowe’s, you are advised to contact Certegy directly to raise an issue since Lowe’s does not receive any information about why checks are declined. 

Returned Checks: 

If you pay a check and your check gets returned (i.e bounced), The Home Depot may charge a fee; representatives were unable to confirm the exact fee amount. You also won’t be able to pay with a check again until both the fee is paid and the check clears. In case the bounced check is pending, the store can suspend your ability to pay with checks. Once you’ve paid the fee and your check is cleared, you will be able to pay with checks again.
