Yd is an Australian men’s clothing brand with its physical and online stores operating in Australia and New Zealand. Whether you purchase yd products in a store or online, It is quite possible to have an issue with the product like the fittings, or receiving a faulty product, and you might want to return it. Here’s how you can proceed in case you want to make an exchange or return your purchased product -See Yd Return Policy.

If you think there is a fault with the product (like a manufacturing defect), write an email to the company making them aware about the issue as soon as possible, after you discover the fault in the product.

Package your item(s) into the original or a suitable new packaging.

Attach your return labels onto the parcel along with any delivery labels (if
bought online).

Post your parcel back to yd’s postal address (mentioned below) by taking it to your post office. Ensure to keep a proof of postage.

Keep in mind that all costs of return made via post has to be borne by the customer. Also, it is a good idea to use a trackable postal service since the company does not take the responsibility if the parcel is lost in transit by the postal service.

Is the product eligible for return?

There are a few things you need to keep in mind to ensure the item you process for return are acceptable for refund-

Tax invoice should be presented along with your item as a proof of purchase,

The item returned is in original condition i.e. unused and with all tags attached to the garment,

No returns are applicable on underwear unless it’s a genuine manufacturing fault.

For online purchases

The items purchased online can be returned both in a yd store or by post. But just as In case of an in-store purchase, you must ensure that the garments are in original condition and you have a proof of purchase with you.

Conditions for online payments

For payments made using PayPal, the refund will be made to the corresponding PayPal account. However if retuning in a store, you need to have a proof of purchase, credit card along with a valid photo ID (make sure that the name on photo id and credit card must match your online receipt).

For New Zealand in-store purchases unfortunately, PayPal refunds are not available.

For payments made using Afterpay, once your refund is processed it will automatically go through Afterpay gateway and once they process it, it will show up in your payment plan.

Refunds are made only to the original card from which payment was made.

Be patient with the refund process. It might take up to 7 days to as long as 21 days for the refund to be processed.

Q1. Are purchases made in Australia refundable in New Zealand?

Definitely. For purchases made in Australia and returned in store in New Zealand may be refunded in local currency.

Q2. Is parcel point a better option for Returns?

Parcel point convenient and affordable postal service for sure, but it is important to know that this service is not associated to the company and any issue with the package will not be company’s responsibility.

Q3. Can I get an exchange via postal method?

Unfortunately, the company offers only Refunds via postal means.

Q4. Will I get a full refund on my online purchase?

Yes. The company offers full refunds on products purchased online, given that the item is in it’s original condition with all tags attached.

Q5. Is online Returns/Exchange available for in store purchases?

Unfortunately, the company does not provide this option for products purchased in store and you can get an exchange/Return only by visiting a store Ĺ.

Q6. What if I missed my receipt/swing tags?

The company will provide an exchange credit note given the garment is not worn out, and is in good condition.

Q7. Why is there no refund for undergarments?

You may not get a refund on undergarment for health reasons. Although the company offers an exchange for any manufacturing defect, which is rare.

Q8. Can I make an exchange/refund for gift card purchase?

The company does not provide any refund, exchange or replace any lost or stolen gift card.

Q9. My refund was processed but the refund amount is not reflecting in my Afterpay account.

Afterpay is a third party and any purchase was made using afterpay, the refund and processing is managed by afterpay and not yd. (It may take up to 21 days for refund to be processed)
