What Are The Things Covered Under Landsail Warranty

  • Landsail tread patterns are warranted against any defects in the manufacturing, materials, or workmanship

What Things Are Not Covered Under Warranty

Landsail is not entitled to provide a claim against the warranted tire if the harm is caused due to the below-mentioned circumstances;

  • Warranty can’t be claimed against the tires used for commercial or racing purposes
  • Tires used in a vehicle whose back and front tires are separate in size
  • A tire whose DOT numbers, brand, and size information were eliminated intentionally
  • Ride complaints after the first 2/32” of trade depth or replacement of 3 or more tires for the same vehicle will not be accepted
  • Failure to rotate tire on specified intervals 
  • Road hazard damage including cuts, snags, bruises, punctures, tire repair, impact breaks, etc.
  • Any tire that had been installed or driven on outside America
  • Any damage caused due to under inflation, tire overloading, tire theft, fire, and defective mechanical condition of the vehicle 
  • The tire must not be harmed due to dismounting/ balancing, any incorrect or improper tire placement 
  • Environmental ozone or weather cracking occurred 2 years after the date of manufacture
  • Damage caused due to chemical corrosion, tire alteration, vandalism, abuse, or running on a flat tire
  • Flat spotting caused by improper storage or brake lock

What Is Road Hazard Warranty

Hazardous warranty is limited to some of the selected tires that come with unique tread patterns. Landsail has specified a mileage warranty as per the model of the tires. In case, a selected tire reaches the end of 2/32” of tread life in the initial six months from the date of purchase, Landsail will provide 100% free replacement against the damaged tire. If damages occurred in a tire after 6 months or from 2/32” to 4/32” of tread depth (whichever comes earlier), Landsail Tire Warranty authorized dealer will reimburse 50% cost of the replaced tire.

What Are Some Exceptions To Road Hazard Warranty

Landsail has defined certain exclusions that make a claim invalid under the road hazard warranty. A client is required to be aware of the below-mentioned exclusions;

  • Damage caused by vandalism
  • Vehicle accident damage
  • Repairable under Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) guidelines
  • Snow chains or dust damage
  • Tire installed in another vehicle
  •  Series 40 and lower (i.e. 40,35,30,25 and 20)
  • Tires with a rim diameter 19” and higher

What If A Tire Receives Damage After Six Months

A claim must be valid for claiming the warranty. A client has to ensure that 2/32” of tread life is remaining. In addition, damages on the tire must not rise due to the causes that come in the list of “What Things Are Not Covered”. In case of fulfilling all the eligibility criteria, Unicorn will issue a credit to the original owner of the tire on a pro-rata basis. After 6 months a tire becomes ineligible to receive a 100% free replacement. 

What’s The Process To Claim The Warranty

Landsail is committed to offering a hassle-free claiming service to its clients. A customer has to contact the authorized dealer for claiming purposes. A client is required to fill out the warranty registration form and present the form to the authorized dealer. All the required documents including the purchase receipt and tire rotation record must be attached while presenting the registration form. The authorized dealer will inspect the tire regarding the validity of the claim. Any missing information on the registration form will make the claim invalid. Landsail Tire Warranty is not entitled to proceed further with the claim that comes through an unauthorized dealer.
