How Target Drive-up works?
A person has to use the Target app to use Drive up. A person has to select the items in the Target app or can also log in to the Target site. The following are the steps to Target Drive-up:
- A person has to download the Target app through an Android device or iOS system, available on the Google play store or Apple store. Then after signing up with a username and password, the person has to add the items to the cart such as groceries, beauty products, etc.
- After adding to the cart, to order for drive-up, a person has to select “pick it up” and then “Drive-up”.
- After choosing the Drive-up option, a person has to pay for the order through a Debit or Credit card. A confirmation mail will be sent to an email when it is ready to pick it up.
- A person has to select the “I am on the way” option to let Target know that a person is coming to receive their order. Then the drive-up order will come to the parking lot in a shorter time.
- When Target team member comes with the order. A person has to show the digit code in the app to confirm the order.
How to return Drive-up items?
A person can return the items from the order to the store when they get the receipt. They
can return the items at the Guest Services by:
- They can print the receipt which has been mailed to the person and present the receipt at the Guest Service.
- In order detail, select the Return Items by mail
- Present the debit or credit card which has been used to make the payment
- Some items can be returned through mail only by selecting the Return the items by Mail.
What happens if a person doesn’t pick up the order
If a person does not pick up the order within 3 days, then the order gets cancelled and a refund will be initiated. Orders from fresh grocery items, the order will be there for the next 24 hours and they can’t be extended.
Tip to Target Drive-up
Giving tip to the drive-up workers are not officially mentioned by the Target app. Drive-up workers denied the tip when offered, but appreciate the person when they give them the tip. However, a person should provide the tip to the workers especially in the pandemic time because every business is facing some loss. It will be helpful to give the tip to the workers.
Can a person place Drive-up order on the Target website?
Drive-up does not available at every store. A person has to download the app and select their items through it.
Usage of coupons with Target Drive-up
A person can add Target promo codes while placing the order at checkout. Some Target Circle offers are not eligible for Target Drive-up such as Manufacturer’s coupons. A person has to download Target Redcard to save 5% on every Drive-up order.
Can a person change the Drive-up after the order is placed?
When a person received the notification that the order is ready to be picked up, an individual can still change their pick up method from Drive up to Order Pick up by using the app. If a person still does not pick up their order from the store, then they can cancel the order or can wait for its expiry which will happen in 3 days.
