Kanati Tire Warranty- Warranty Policy

Kanati Tire Warranty

Kanati Tires is a tire company working for 44 years in the United States and belongs to the Greenball Corporation. It is dedicated to creating high-quality tires that perform well and provide exceptional customer value. Let’s know about Kanati Tire Warranty.

Kanati Tires, manufactured on the island of Indonesia, cater to off-road antics. The company specializes in high-performance tires for SUVs, Jeeps, UTVs, trucks, and quads. It also offers a minimum warranty on its tires. Kanati will replace the tire if there happens to be a fault in the manufacturing of components of tires for four years since the manufacture and two years since the purchase of any kind of tires. Defective tires will be replaced without any charge in case of 10% of tread wear. Tires not eligible for free of charge replacement will be replaced with a new tire of equal value. Mounting and balancing costs are the responsibility of the tire owner.

What are the Qualification Criteria for Warranty?

Suppose you are the buyer and original owner of Kanati tires with the Department of Transportation issued tire identification numbers. In that case, you are entitled to perks under Kanati’s warranty policy. If you are unsure about it, Kanati’s Warranty Department will look into it for you.

Warranty Policy

For two years from the invoice purchase date, your Kanati tires are warranted against breakdown owing to any fault during manufacturing or in parts and quality, as proven by the original invoice.

Suppose you do not have the original invoice. In that case, the warranty will apply for four years from the date of manufacturing and two years from the date of purchase of tires. The code issued by the Department of Transportation contains this information.

Assuming the tire collapses due to flawed part(s) or artistry with 10% of tread wear, the tire will be replaced by Kanati with another practically identical tire without any charge. If the tread wear rate is high and the tire fails for a free replacement, a new equal quality tire will be provided with mounting bills.

If the exact tire is unavailable, a different tire of equal quality with different configurations and sidewalls will be provided to the owner. If the owner requests a high-priced tired, he will have to cover the additional cost.

Procedure

Contact Kanati’s toll-free number at 866-767-9637. Their warranty specialist will verify the tire and talk to you about your tire(s) problem. You will have to send your tire to Kanati for examination and testing. Suppose a problem is discovered during the warranty period. In that case, Kanati will work with you to provide the correct replacement tire of equal value.

What Does the Warranty not cover?

Kanati’s tire warranty policy does not cover:

  • Any kind of mounting and labor costs.
  • Any damages did during the process of mounting.
  • Warranty will be void if the tire is patched, repaired, or has sealant applied to it.
  • Any wear or damages done due to temperature, improper alignment of the tire, over-loading, road bumps, fire, nail, glass, accidents, or speed violation.
  • Tire(s) provided by anyone other than the initial purchaser.
  • Tires that have been utilized in competitions or races.
  • Damages done due to poor maintenance and repair.
  • Tires that are self-mounted – Kanati strongly opposes tire self-mounting. An expert mounter should do mounting. It can be pretty harmful if done incorrectly. Mounting done by an inexperienced person is not tolerated by Kanati.

Kanati provides no specific statements about the anticipated time of tire wear. Driving conditions, correct tire alignment, loading, pressures, and adequate maintenance are all factors that influence tire wear. Off-road conditions are unforeseeable and might result in tire damage not covered by the warranty.

How to Care for Tires?

Any well-built tire can fail if poorly maintained or serviced posing a risk of property and bodily harm. Follow the steps below to ensure your safety:

  • Check the air pressure of your tire at least once a month. Use a precise gauge for checking air pressure. Do not decrease the pressure in case tires become hot.
  • Inflation must be done correctly. Under-inflation causes sidewall deformation and temperature buildup, leading to early tire breakdown. Over-inflation makes the tire vulnerable to collision damage.
  • Never put too much pressure on your tires. Your tire’s sidewall is molded with more weight and inflation. Loading generates extreme heat, which may result in tire breakdown sooner than expected. Overloading will disqualify your tire for warranty coverage, and it is a typical blunder.
  • Avoid driving over glass, curbs, nails, and other things that could inflict internal tire damage. Continued tire usage with inner wear might result in severe tire rupture.
  • Get your tire mounted by an expert if you feel that internal damage has occurred in the tire.

Summing it up

It’s critical to have confidence in the tire’s performance and reliability before placing an order. Kanati offers a two-year longer warranty on all of their tires.
