Generator – Return Policy 

It is not possible to return gasoline-powered generators or drones that show signs of use, have been used, or have had oil or fuel added. In the first 60 days following the purchase, you can return it in unused condition with the receipt. The generator must be returned in its original packaging with all accessories and a copy of the manual to qualify for a refund. If the generator has been in use for 60 days or has been filled with fuel or oil, it must be returned to the manufacturer for warranty service. The original purchase price plus applicable sales tax plus other terms and conditions will be refunded or exchanged for a new generator if the original purchase receipt is included. The sale price of the generator will be charged to the customer at the time it is returned without a receipt plus applicable sales tax.

General Refund Policy 

An item must be returned with a receipt to be exchanged or refunded. Taxes will be refunded in addition to the original purchase price. Items returned without a receipt will be subject to the lowest sale price plus the applicable sales tax.  Cabela’s gift cards can be used for merchandise credit or exchanged for the same product.  All booklets and equipment must be included with the item. For safety reasons, you may not return ammunition, primers, black powder guns, firearms, gunpowder, or any type of mouth call.

It takes the company some time to process returns at Cabela, and most refunds are made to the original methods of payment. It usually takes a few days for the credit to post and appears on your credit card account, so you may not see the credit until your next monthly credit card statement.

Exceptions 

The returns of online orders made with Stretch Your Payments (powered by Sezzle) or PayPal are only accepted in a physical store as an exchange or refund, not as cash. Cabela’s Canada must receive any returns of merchandise purchased from cabelas.ca or Cabela’s retail stores in Canada. If an item is returned without a receipt, the lowest sale price will be refunded in addition to the applicable sales tax.  

A gift card can be redeemed for merchandise credit in the form of an exchange for the same product. Valid government photo identification is requested. In the event of a return or exchange without a valid receipt, they reserve the right to limit or decline the request. Items that have been altered will not be accepted for return or exchange. 

In retail stores, items purchased from the Bargain Cave cannot be returned. It is not possible to exchange or return any of the following items for safety purposes: Ammunition, Black Powder Firearms, Primers, Reloading Leads, Firearms, Tree stands, Mouth Calls, and Brass or Bullets.
