Some customers are wary of paying with their cards as they fear it might be a risky method of payment. Zando however has already considered that and has taken the necessary steps to ensure the safety of the customer and their card details. To ensure your safety and the safety of your card information, Zando makes use of the 3D-secure authentication system to verify your details with your bank. That method makes sure that you are linked directly with your bank and its safe environment, this ensures that Zando has no access to your card details. In addition, even third parties will not have access to your card information.

Cash on Delivery-

This is a method that a selection of customers still prefer as they would like to ensure that they are getting what they ordered before they pay. The Cash on delivery option is only available to a selection of postal codes in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg. There is also an R10 handling fee applicable to the COD method of payment, cash payments must be made in South African rand. Zando further specifies that with the COD payment method, customers must ensure that they have the exact amount of cash on hand because their delivery team will not be traveling with change. Clients need to note that Zando does not offer any other form of handheld payment. This means that their delivery team doesn’t travel with card machines. COD payment method is exactly that of a payment method. Customers will not be allowed to fit their purchase before paying for it. An additional disclaimer from Zando is that for safety reasons, COD is only available for orders below R1,500.

Instant EFT payments-

You can make payments for your Zando orders using the instant EFT. This method allows a customer to make a direct payment to Zando straight from their online banking platform as a part of the checkout process. With this form of making payment for your order, you are in full control. This method of payment requires you to enter your internet banking username and password if this specific feature has been set up on your internet banking profile. EFT method of payment ensures that you are in complete control as you would need to authorize the payment at checkout, then your bank will send you an OTP. The OTP can only be used to complete the payment through an integrated payment step and not on the banking app or other internet banking platform. 

Store credit and coupons-

Promotional coupons that customers have can only be used on Zando.co.za and cannot be applied to Zando deal orders. These coupons come with a set of limitations. This includes the following, they may not be used on items that are on sale, and coupons might be valid on specific items only. Zando further specifies that all promotional coupons will be accompanied by terms and conditions.

If a customer selects store credit as their chosen refund method then a store credit voucher will be emailed to them, they can only use the store credit at Zando.co.za. Any store credit will only be received by a customer after the returned item has been properly processed by Zando’s quality control. Customers who have gift vouchers will be able to use them to pay for their orders on Zando. The amount on the gift voucher will be deducted from the total amount that you would have to pay for your order.
