FEU Payment options – know more

After becoming an official student of the Far Eastern University (FEU), the next thing you need to know is your fee payment options. Due to the high amount paid, it is essential to know the suitable payment options. However, most Colleges understand that not everyone can easily afford the fees, so FEU has a plan for those who would like a more flexible payment option. Let’s learn about FEU payment options.

FEU Payment options

Unlike other institutions and organizations, FEU, like most colleges, does not have any personal account with which payments are made. Instead, all transactions are made via official FEU accounts.

Bills Payment

Inside A Banking Hall

Some people prefer face-to-face transactions. It is the best option for you for reasons such as having the cash at hand and nearness to banking facilities. Although it is restricted to a few banks, it is one of the most accessible payment options. All one has to do is look for any one of these banks:

  • Union Bank
  • Metrobank
  • BPI
  • BPO and
  • Security Bank.

The nature of this service and how it works is not much of a concern to a prospective student. According to the FEU website, all that matters is that it is one of its payment options. All it requires is to follow all the procedures religiously. At the bank, request a BILLS PAYMENT form. Fill out the form according to your student information and the school’s name, i.e., Far Eastern University. Make payment at the tellers, and just like that, it gets done.

Online Payments

BILLS Payments in Banking Halls and Online do not differ so much. The main difference is that you enroll for an online account with the banks. This will then be the account with which all your transactions can be made. Look for any of these online banking options

  • Union Bank online
  • Metrobank online
  • BPI online
  • Security Bank online

Like in Banking Halls, you have to make sure to fill the appropriate information. Information such as the name of the biller and reference or student number is of utmost importance. The Biller name is FAR EASTERN UNIVERSITY. All BILLS Payment will not reflect on your student account right away. All payment reflections will appear at least 24 hours later, as long as it is a banking day.

Bukas Financial Services

Bukas Financial Services provides either a student loan or a tuition installment plan. Also, it can be used throughout your period in FEU. College is not a place where one has to worry every day. It is a place of study and growth. This is what this payment option provides. The monthly installments plan ranges as far as two semesters – 12 months! If you are a student who cannot afford a one-time fee payment, then a tuition installment plan with Bukas is for you.

TAMS Service desk (TSD) Payment Option

If you don’t know what a TSD is, then this payment option is not for you because it is an option limited to only those with a TSD account. Why I prefer this payment option is because all payments made are credited within 12 hours.

It is processed as follows:

  • Login to TSD using this link https://servicedeck.feu.edu.ph
  • Select the Online payment option
  • Make your payment using your Visa or MasterCard credit card.

Yes. It is this easy.

Using The PayMaya or Gcash Mobile Money Application

It is an E-wallet facility that can aid payment to FEU. If for reasons such as poor Bank network connection or any other, this medium will help. It is widely known in The Philippines, so don’t feel lost if you can’t find it in your location. It is worth knowing that using this means will require proof of payment. So, you must take a screenshot after payment is made. All Gcash or PayMaya transactions are reflected in the student account at least three days later.

So, like all mobile money payments, all you need to do is, open the PayMaya or Gcash app. Then, select the BANK TRANSFER option. It should be easy if you’re used to the Gcash or PayMaya app. Next, select the name of the Bank. FEU’s interests are aligned with UNION BANK in all Gcash or PayMaya transactions.

As directed by the FEU website, input the account name and account number as follows:

Name of Account: Name of University – Far Eastern University

Account Number: 1030-6000-6078

Lastly, for the Gcash or PayMaya transactions, FEU advises that a screenshot or scanned copy of the payment made is sent to https://servicedeck.feu.edu.ph for recording purposes.

Internal Remittance Via BPI And BDO

I think this payment option is laborious. My advice would be, do not use this option. However, if you have no option but to transfer money directly from a foreign country to the Philippines, then, this is for you. Using a bank in your residence country, all you need to do is, input the official account details of the Far Eastern University. Internal Remittance payments are made through the Bank of Philippine Islands (BPI) or BDO Unibank Inc. (BDO).

Per the FEU payment options on website, the account details are as follows:

• The Beneficiary Account name is FAR EASTERN UNIVERSITY. The Beneficiary address, FEU Building, Nicanor Reyes Street, Sampaloc, Manila. Philippines

• Beneficiary Banks:

  1. Account Number: 1583-0266-45

Bank: BANK OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS (BPI)

Bank Branch address: Morayta-FEU Branch, Nicanor Reyes St., Sampaloc, Manila. Philippines 1008

SWIFT Code: BOPIPHMM

  1. Account Number: 0045-5018-7487

Bank: BDO UNIBANK, INC. (BDO)

Bank Branch address: CM Recto-San Sebastian Branch, 2070 C. M. Recto St., Sampaloc Manila. Philippines 1008

SWIFT Code is BNORPHMM.

The laborious nature of this payment option means that you will need proof of payment. Because payment does not reflect until at least 3 days.

Conclusion

It will be futile to gain admission into the University and then, miss out because of a payment delay or another. This is why all prospective and official students need to know their available payment options.
