Here is a simple way to reset your password:
Follow This For Mobile:
- Open the Spotify App
- Press on ‘Login’
- Press on ‘Log in without Password’
- Mention your Email or Username
- Press on ‘Get Link’
- Then you will get a mail from Spotify
- Now press on ‘GO TO SPOTIFY’. It will redirect you to The Spotify app with Welcome Back Pop Up.
- If you press ‘Start Listening’, It will redirect you to The Spotify Homepage.
- If you press ‘Create new password’ you will be redirected to another page where you have to set your new password. Afterward, it will redirect you to the Spotify Homepage.
Follow This For Desktop/Website:
- Open Spotify in Desktop App or Website.
- Click on ‘Log in’
- Click on ‘forgot your password?’
- Then Mention your Email Address or Username and click on ‘Send’ after performing the reCAPTCHA work.
- Check your email and click on ‘Reset Password’
- Now Reset your New password and again Click on ‘Send’ after performing the reCAPTCHA work.
After that, a sweet message will appear as ‘Password Updated’. You are all done Now!

Change Password
This method is only for the users who remember their passwords but want to set a New Strong Password. This process needs your current password to be mentioned there.

- Now press on “Account Overview” and a drop list will appear as below
- Press on “🔒Change Password” Then it will redirect you to some typing work page there you have to type your Current Password, New Password, and Confirm New Password
- Thereafter press “Set New password” Then it will show “Congratulations Your Password Updated”. Then you have to login into your Spotify account with your new password. That’s all! You are done Now.
