  • Step 1

To refresh your mobile data, you can turn your airplane mode setting on your device on and off.

Your Verizon APN settings can be changed in your phone settings by following the steps below;

  • Step 1

Head to your device settings. 

  • Step 2

Select Wireless & Network >> Mobile Networks >>Access Point Names

  • Step 3

You will see 3 dashed lines, tap on them and select the New APN.

  • Step 4 

Enter the details below ensuring that they are typed exactly as you see and double-check spelling errors.

Restart your device and mobile data should be working.

For iPhone devices:

  • Step 1

Go to Settings>> Cellular Data>> Cellular Data Options>> Cellular Data Network.

  • Step 2

Select the Add APN and enter vzwinternet

Step 3

The username and password should be left blank

  • Step 4

If mobile data is not working immediately after changing these settings restart your device.

Method 5:

Review your data plan. To clarify a data plan refers to the contract you sign with Verizon where you are allocated an amount of mobile data monthly which you pay for. 

  • Step 1

When you are home or anywhere where you have access to a Wi-Fi connection make sure you always check that your mobile data is turned off to prevent it from being used unnecessarily without your knowledge.

  • Step 2

Make sure you are aware of how much data you are allocated every month; you are welcome to negotiate a new contract with Verizon to increase your data plan to other options they have listed.
