With the app being so close to a person, it needs as much security and there are a lot of questions that its users have regarding the security of their accounts and messages.

Including the problem of forgetting a password or checking what devices have your account logged into them, Facebook emailing remains as important. This article is about emails from Facebook.

Specifically about getting rid of spam emails from them.

What do you do with a Facebook account?

You can instantly contact anyone with a Facebook account by just texting what you want to. All you need is a Facebook account and a good internet connection. It is an incredibly secret application where your privacy is given priority.)

You get to be informed about everything happening in the world through Facebook. There are over 2.9 billion accounts of people that share what is happening in their lives and around their houses.

An endless source of entertainment

It is an endless source of entertainment with huge amounts of videos only containing content to laugh at and go Aww! On. You can post about your life and show the world your talents. Many people in the world earned fame just through Facebook.

You can simply dance and you’ll have millions of people just watching your talent!

To check if the email you’re getting is from the authentic Facebook account, here are what steps you may follow:

1, make sure that the account that sends you an email claiming to be From Facebook should be under the name of facebookmail.com.

2, To check if the mail is legit, you can simply

 • Tap on the settings on your Facebook account

 • tap on “see recent emails from Facebook”

3, Remember that Facebook never asks you for your password through an email or even sends you a password as an attachment. So any other account contacting you with such acts, know that it’s not legit and do not continue.

4, They’re often very senseless topics like winning a Facebook lottery (a dream!) and fake claims that you’ve taken actions against the policy of Facebook.

5, you can get emails like ‘if you do not do such and such act something might happen to your account’ all of them are nothing but fake!

In your security tab, you’ll find the emails you’ve received from Facebook in the last two weeks. You’ll find emails here related to changing your password or any log-in activity detection.

In your other tab, you’ll find the emails sent by Facebook in the last two days.

Also, know that Facebook has stated,

‘If we send an email that contains a special link or security code, we may hide that information in your security and login settings to help protect your Facebook account. You will need to be able to access your email account to view it. ‘

Now, what would you do if you do not recognize an act you did that the mail suggests? You can tap on the options like I didn’t do this or secure your account and then you’ll further be guided towards letting Facebook know what’s wrong.

Make sure you add all the true information and let Facebook help you. If you click on a suspicious link, let that be known to Facebook. You can complain/ report them at reports.com and report to phish@fb.com.

Do not let the strange messages and attachments be on their own and help Facebook create a safe environment.

About email accounts:

If you have two email accounts connected to your Facebook account, you can choose one of them as the primary email account and you’ll only receive emails there.

If you stop receiving emails from that account you’ll receive them through your secondary account and if you stop receiving from both, then you just stop getting any emails from Facebook at all.

So in conclusion

you just need to follow the steps above about fixing the notifications and select what you want to be notified about to get rid of spam email from Facebook and also get the important emails.
