Food Lion’s loyalty program is the MVP Program, It is a shop and earns program that allows customers to earn rewards on every dollar in purchases for a few months and cash the points after they accumulate enough. With these reward points, the customer can be rewarded with discounts on the products that they purchase in the store and online, and they can also get the store credit for future purchases. To activate these offer points, you must have at least ten points on the rewards profile. Every 10 MVP points will make you $0.01 in reward points. The MVP program has a different set of rules to its own rewards system, so it is hard to compare the two.

Earned rewards are automatically redeemed on your next purchase when you use your MVP Card. If you’d like to donate the rewards towards assisting a neighbor in need, be sure to do so before you shop in-store or order online. You can view your rewards balance and redeem or donate your funds anytime in your MVP Wallet, and you will have until the end of the next month to do so. For example, for rewards redeemed in February, you will have until March 31st to redeem or donate them.
