The last but not the least limitation is that they don’t cash out the money orders. These money orders can be deposited in banks first, then can be cashed out from the bank.

Required steps to complete Kwik’s Money Order

The required steps are as follows

  1. The first step is to decide the amount of money for which the money order is to be made.
  2. Next, you need to visit any of the Kwik Trip convenience stores from where you can buy the money order. 
  3. It should be noted that Kwik Trip only accepts cash as a payment, and credit or debit cards are accepted. So, remember to carry cash with you. The other important part is that they only issue money orders up to $500. The maximum amount, which is $500, can be issued twice per person in a day.
  4. Kwik Trip charges a fee of $0.99 for issuing money orders. So, you need to pay this fee charge first in order to obtain the money order.
  5. After that, the store will give you the money order slip, which you need to fill out with the correct details. The money order slip will have the printed amount which you want to pay. Do check this amount before moving forward with the transaction.
  6. It is advisable to fill the money order on the spot if it gets lost or stolen, then the empty money order can be easily cashed out.
  7. The first step to filling the money order is to fill in the payee’s details. This is the name of the person whom you are paying.
  8. Next is to fill in your details, followed by the type or reason behind paying the person.
  9. There is a space below for signature. You need to sign there.
  10. Next, it is suggested to make a copy of the money order for a personal record.
