- The membership fee can be paid for by using any Visa credit/debit card or MasterCard debit card. The renewal amount is deducted on the first day of the renewal month.

- The Primary member of the membership is responsible for authorizing renewal or cardholder changes. They are responsible for the membership and card, including its addition or deletion. They can assign a current Costco member as their Personal or Business administrator and allow them to make changes to their membership. These administrators have the authority to change and upgrade addresses, phone numbers, communication preferences, and the renewal of memberships.
Gold Star Membership- The Gold Star membership is available for purchase at $60. It issues one household card, which allows two members of the same household to shop using that card. This membership is valid for one year at all Costco stores worldwide and on the Costco website. Gold Star members are offered same day deliveries. Once a membership is purchased, a membership number is emailed to the customer within two working days. Membership cards can be received from any Costco location.
Executive Membership- Executive members are charged an extra $60 along with the Costco membership fee to avail 2 percent reward on Costco purchases worldwide. The annual 2 percent reward is sent to Costco members via mail approximately 2 months before the membership renewal date. Executive members are also offered additional services including auto buying, check printing, roadside assistance, and additional travel benefits through Costco Travel.
