Returning Items in Person
Items purchased from Tesla authorized retail stores can be returned in person. You have to locate a Tesla official retail store near you. When you find a store near you go and present your receipt and ask for the return of the product you want to return. They will take you through the return process from there on.
Returning Products through Online Method
You can return your Tesla product through their official website if it is bought online through their official website.
i) log in to your tesla account.
ii) go to the orders section and access your order details and initiate the return request by going through the steps mentioned on their website
iii) Take a printout of your prepaid return shipping label and ship the packed product back to Tesla.
If you have purchased the product as a guest, enter your email address and order number, then you will get access to your order from there you can go to request a return by the previous method.
Do you Get a full Refund from tesla?
Once you ship your product back with a prepaid return shipping label, when tesla receives it they will inspect it very thoroughly and then process your return. If all are good and all conditions are met, then Tesla will process a refund within seven to ten business days. That refund will get to you the same way you used to make the payment for the product in the first place. Tesla can deduct return shipping charges in some cases from the refund amount. If the product has some factory default or has a fault from their side which made the user return, then they will not deduct anything, and you will get a full refund from tesla.
