A hard reset of your Cox modem can also be considered as a fix. The white status light may blink as a result of an accidental setting change. The settings and preferences you have saved on your modem will be erased when you reset your modem. There is a reset button on the back of your Cox modem that you can use to reset it. You can revert your modem to its factory default settings by pressing and holding this button for 10 seconds. Note down the SSID and password before resetting your modem. All your previously connected devices will automatically reconnect to your Wi-Fi network if you configure it with the same SSID and password.

Using an incognito browsing window, open another tab on your internet browser and enter the IP address of your router. In the command terminal of your laptop or PC, type ifconfig (in Windows, ipconfig) to find your router’s IP address. The IP address of your router is displayed in the ‘Default Gateway field. Reconnect Your Coax Cable After Unplugging It:

Unplugging and plugging your coaxial cable back into the router might work if the above method doesn’t work. You can do this by temporarily suspending your internet connection and reactivating it like you would if you were to perform a power cycle on your router. In addition, use a cable that is not bent or damaged to ensure your network is connected.
