  3. Eligible students identified under this program as homeless, homecare, or migrants will receive the benefits on their behalf in the commencing week of July.

Process of P-EBT-

  1. To avail of the benefits of this program, it is important to understand the process. The school or district will send details about the eligibility criteria of students to the Texas of Health and Human Services to issue befits to eligible students. Under this detail, it will include the benefits student is getting. 
  2. Eligible children for pandemic electronic benefit transfer will receive the notice through email. 
  3. In case you are first timer receiving benefits under Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer then a first notice will include the details about how you can claim your benefits through email, you will receive the pandemic electronic benefit transfer card. 
  4. Or if you are not a first-timer then in such case benefits of this program P-EBT will be issued on Lone Star Card or P-EBT card.
