Steps for Joining the New Program
- For joining the new program, you are going to download the McDonald’s mobile application
- Register for it and activate your account
- If you already have the app and are participating in the old McDonald’s rewards, then no action is needed.
- Everybody who is a new joiner or an existing member will earn 5000 bonus points on their first transaction of $1 or more dollars.
What happens to the existing rewards that are on the app or little cards with stickers that you have been collecting off of the coffee cups
So, the McDonald’s rewards members who have outstanding purchases will be credited with 300 points/purchase.If you have existing free rewards, you will need to use them on or before February 28, 2022, to avoid the loss of points. They are not giving an equivalent number of points for those rulers. You are just going to redeem them as it is for coffee or French fries.

How do you Earn My McDonald’s Rewards Points at McDrive
When you arrive at the drive, open your My McDonald’s application then tap on the deals page. You may either use the loyalty card or select any deal on that page. Scan the QR code on your loyalty card or deal while you are placing your order on the customer ordering device. If the scanning feature is not available in the app, then double-tap the QR code and read out the code that is displayed on the screen of the order taker. After you have scanned you can proceed to the payment window. For every Euro spent, you will earn 10 points. Finally, proceed to the last window to collect your order.
How do you burn your points for rewards at McDrive
Once you have enough points in your My McDonald’s rewards account, you can redeem them for free rewards through the application, and 2000 is the minimum point.
- When you are at a McDrive, open your My McDonald’s application, tap on the deals tab and select the rewards tab.
- Choose the reward that you want to claim
- Scan the QR code on the customer ordering device. If scanning is not available, you can double-tap the QR code and read out the code that is visible on your screen to the order taker
- Next, confirm your order and head to the payment gateway
- Finally, proceed to the last window and collect your package
There are five tier levels that you can redeem
Tier 1: The minimum points for Tier-1 are 2000 points and that gets you any size McCafe coffee, tea, iced coffee, or a hash brown ice-cream cone or two little donuts.
Tier 2: The minimum points for Tier-2 are 4000 points and that gets you any size of fries, a sausage, a cheeseburger, or any size of a McCafe latte.
Tier 3: The minimum points for Tier-3 are 6000 points and that gets you a McDonald McDouble, any McMuffin, a snack-size McFlurry.
Tier 4: The minimum points for Tier-4 are 8000 points and that gets you an egg muffin, extra value meals, six-piece McNuggets, or any happy meal.
Tier 5: The minimum points for Tier-5 are 14000 points and that gets you a quarter-pound with cheese, extra value meals, or ten-piece nuggets.
In general, for most customers, McDonald’s Loyalty Program includes coupons and deals that have proved to be successful.
