SpaceX Job Application Status

We have grouped out those terminologies. Read along to get a brief.

Different Spacex Job Application Status

Many companies have a job tracking system comprising different statuses of an application. And SpaceX uses “Jobvite” in tracking job applications. You can visit their page here and have a follow-up about your application status.

Following are the possible job application statuses:

  1. Researching
  1. New Opportunity
  1. Applied
  1. Interviewed
  1. Hired
  1. Closed Opportunity

And different companies have different terminologies, while the meaning remains the same.

Some variations between that and your defined statuses are simply a matter of name, while the rest is mostly a matter of viewpoint.

Because the systems are designed for candidates, it includes statuses such as those in which they are still researching the organization or have recently learned of a new opportunity, but have not yet submitted an official job application.

It also allows the candidate to close out chances they didn’t gain (for example, if they weren’t chosen or if the deadline passed before they submitted their application, etc).

  1. In Process Application Status

It shows that your application is being considered. Your application might be with the human resource team or recruiter.

If you have applied for a job and passed all the rounds, but the Recruiter says you’re “in process,” it means you’ll have to wait for feedback, which could take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on the employer.

We recommend emailing the Recruiter and inquiring about the timing so that you may schedule other interviews or take action depending on SpaceX’s comments.

  1. Considering Application Status

We can only be certain that your application has not been rejected because we do not know anyone who works there.

The good news is that they may still consider you for the position. The bad news is that your status might never change.

Consider the status of all applications from the time they are received by the employer until a decision is made on whether to move on with your application.

Alternatively, if many parties examine applications, it could signify that one party has reviewed but not rejected your application and is awaiting more feedback from others involved in the recruiting process before pushing your application forward or rejecting it.

In short, your application is on the first level. Neither rejected nor accepted.

  1. Tentative Application Status

This is another name for under review.

No, you shouldn’t make any assumptions other than that your CV is still “under evaluation.” That signifies that someone at that organization is to examine applicants for certain positions.

The person may be on vacation. Maybe they’re responsible for eight other open positions and need more time to go over all the resumes that come in. It might show anything, but the details don’t matter; it simply means that your data is still being considered.

  1. Completed

It could be their way of informing you that your application has been submitted, depending on how they have the system configured. So you’ve submitted your application and are now waiting for it to be reviewed.

Alternatively, it could be their way of informing you they’ve completed their evaluation of applications and are now deciding.

It’s also likely that this is their way of indicating that they’ve completed their research and made their decision. So it depends in part on where you see this.

  1. Process Completed

It signifies you’ve finished your full application and are currently waiting for a response from the company.

You should either receive an email indicating that you have been selected to move on to the next step of the hiring process, or an email indicating that you have been rejected, within the following few business days.

  1. Screened

The term “screened” denotes that a recruiter has examined your resume or Hiring Manager. This doesn’t guarantee your next process of the interview being selected.

Conclusion

Do not get disheartened after viewing the terms which might not have turned out as expected. But it is okay now that you are equipped with the different job application statuses, it gets easier to track your application. All the best!
