Current members and retired members of the Department of Defense and Coast Guard need to present their CAC, DOD, CG ID, or several of the leave forms.

While the offers at Disney do not apply to those who are dishonorably discharged, the veterans who were honorably discharged who have 100% Permanent Service-connected disability, such as based on DAVPRM or Mil ID will need to present a required ID, and several forms such as the likes of DD Form 1173 or DD Form 2765.  

Under the Transition Assistance Management Program, the members of the Armed Forces who have been involuntarily dissolved must present their IDs, along with DD Form 2. Based on Voluntary Separation Incentive (VSI) and Special Separation Benefit (SSB) the previously married couples who have now been separated for 2 years need to show their ID and DD Form 2. 

Current and retired members of the Public Health Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Corps need to show their ID and some forms, such as the DD Form 2, PHS 1866-1, or the 1866-3. 

Disney Offers For Veterans 

Based on the John McCain Defense Authorization Act Veterans, all Purple Heart recipients, former Prisoners of War, individuals with service-related disabilities, and primary family caregivers of veterans according to the VA Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers need to show their ID.

The ID requirement for veterans is much more elaborate than compared to that of the members of the military. The ID includes – Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC). However, it needs to be noted that the eligibility status of the veteran needs to be displayed on the ID. The eligibility status includes a Purple Heart commendation, former PoW, or service-related disability. 

Now, coming on to the primary family caregivers, they need to present a letter they have received from the VA Office of Community Care that shows and proves that they are eligible caregivers of an eligible veteran under the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers. As mentioned before, all veterans who are honorably discharged need to present their required ID, and DD-214 showing their discharge.
