🟡 Set Date and Time

The first thing to do when programming your white rodgers thermostat is to set the time and date. Steps to set a date and time are:

✅ Press the button for setting time.

✅ Use the arrows that point up and down to select hours.

✅ Press the button for setting time again, and use the arrows pointing up and down to select minute.

✅ Repeat the above procedure for setting a date, month, and year.

✅ Press the “FAN” button to select “Prog” or “Auto”.

✅ Press the “set schedule” button to move to the next program period for the day.

✅ Repeat the steps above for all the day’s periods.

✅ Press the button tagged “Run schedule” to run your program.

🟡 Enter Program for Cooling

To set the program for cooling :

 ✅ Press the button tagged “system” until an icon “cool” appears.

✅ Repeat the steps for the program for heating to set days and heating periods.

To check if your white rodgers thermostat is correctly programmed, follow these steps:

✅ Move the switch tagged “SYSTEM” to ” Heat”.

✅ Press the button tagged “PRGM” to cycle through the periods you have programmed.

✅ Move the switch tagged “SYSTEM” to “COOL”.z

✅ Repeat the instructions in step 2 for the cold programs.

✅ Press the “Run” button. 

The scheduled program starts automatically.

Changing an already set program

To change an already set program (either Heating or Cooling), follow these steps:

✅ Move the switch tagged “SYSTEM” to the mode you want to change.

✅ Press the button tagged “PRGM” and select the program you are changing.

✅ Change the temperature and periods, and press the “Run” button.

Deactivating an already set program

A running program can be deactivated by:

1. Press the HOLD button.

2. Using the arrows to adjust the temperature levels.

Resuming a previously set program

To resume a previously set program after you have pressed “HOld”, simply press the button tagged “RUN”, and the program begins to run.
