Falcons are allowed to travel with their owners in the cabin upon submitting appropriate documents and permits in advance. All pets and other animals can travel with Etihad via cargo service. Guide dogs are permitted with no extra cost if the airline staff has the necessary documents and permits. 

Passengers must be of legal age to be permitted to travel with a pet; in this case, 18 years old. In addition, pet animals such as cats and dogs should not weigh more than 8 kgs, including their carrier, and should be at least four months old to be permitted to travel.

Suppose the passenger is traveling in economy class. In that case, their pet should either be seated underneath the seat or on the adjacent seat in their carrier near the owner, provided they book the seat beforehand. In the case of a falcon, passengers are allowed to travel with one falcon per person or two if the passenger has booked the adjacent seat.

If the passenger is traveling first-class or business, they will have to book a seat for their pets before the travel date. If the owner books the adjacent seat, passengers traveling with falcon can carry two falcons per person or three.

The service dog should be with their owner and be leashed. A passenger is allowed to travel with one service dog in the cabin, except for the passengers flying from the United States, in which case two service dogs are permitted onboard per person.
