Tire Warranty

Kal tire offers overall warranty coverage for tires, wheels, and mechanical services to its customers. The warranty coverage is only valid if a Kal tire technician does the installation, but if the customers use an alternative service provider for installation or install it themselves the warranty becomes invalid.

The Kal tire warranty period is only 30 days.

Kal tire warranty is only valid for personal use vehicles. Other types of vehicles depend on whether the customer is adhering to all terms and conditions in the customer care plan and their participation in the Tire maintenance programs.

The warranty does not apply if the customer or a third party damages the customer’s vehicle due to modifications, accident, fire, alterations, negligence, alterations, and/or misuse. 

Defective claims of parts, products, or labor the customer must present the vehicle to a Kal tire location for inspection by a Kal tire technician within the warranty period. For any defective part or product, replacement and repairs are done and are only limited to the original purchase price. Damages of any other kind are not included in the warranty.

What Qualifications Must Products And Services Meet To Qualify For Warrant Coverage?

For a product or service including tires and wheels to qualify for the Kal tire warranty, it must meet the following conditions;

  • The original invoice of the product or service must accompany the warranty at the time of claim.
  • All claims must be made within 30 days of discovering the defect.
  • The warranty is valid for use by the original buyer of the product and cannot be extended to a third party. 
  • If full payment of products and services are paid to Kal tire.

Kal Tire Customer Care Plan for Tires

Kal tire provides its customers with a free customer care plan upon the purchase of tires for personal vehicle use only.

 The claim is being made must be accompanied by the customer’s copy of the original Customer Care Plan and can be made at any Kal tire location during business hours. The customer care plan include;

  1. Tread Wear Expectation– if the tires wear out even before the kilometer rating, the Kal tire will replace the tires at a pro-rated price. The customer must ensure proper care of the tires otherwise the warranty will be invalid. 
  2. Road Hazard Protection– tires that fail and are not repaired or replaced due to road hazard damage e.g. punctures and cuts, will be replaced with new ones within 30 days of purchase at no fees. customers will be charged a fee for the repairs of the damaged tires if the claim is made after 30 days.
  3. Owner’s Obligation- customers are required to have Kal tire technicians inspect their tires every 8,000-10,000 km free of charge. Customers are urged to ensure that their vehicles are properly aligned to prevent abnormal wear of tires.

What Other Warranty Services Does Kal Tire Offer?

Kal tire offers the following warranty services;

  • Battery warranty- Kal tire offers its customers a warranty for batteries to the original purchaser of the battery. Batteries that are defective due to faulty materials are also covered.
  • Brake warranty- Kal offers brake warranties that cove breaks replacement services for 3 years at no additional cost. The warranty covers brake pads, brake calipers, brake hoses, rotors, shoes, wheel cylinders, and drums.
  • Wheel warranty– Kal tire offers a free warranty for Core Racing, Street Gear, Fuel Off-Road, KMC XD Series, Black Iron, Moto Metal, and Klasse Motorsports wheels for structural failure. The PVD and Chrome plated aluminum wheels have a warranty period of 15 months against chrome peeling. A one-year warranty is offered for Fuel Off-Road wheels and a two-year warranty for Painted and machined wheels.
