KPMG Competitors

Who are KPMG Competitors?

In this article, I took the time to explain KPMG’s competitors, the big 4 in the industry, and how the professional services industry works. Some are older than KPMG but are way not up to the standard of KPMG.

However, the big 4 are Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and PwC. Other brands, Mckinsey, are mentioned in the article to shed more light and clear the doubt that the accountancy industry is limited to just the big 4 mentioned.

Deloitte

Deloitte is a global accountancy company that provides financial advisory, risk advisory, consulting, tax, legal, and audit services for companies, brands, government, and international organizations.

Deloitte is one of the largest private companies in the world, as, at 202o, it was the largest private company in the USA. Deloitte serves a variety of industries, from eCommerce to telecommunications.

Deloitte is a multinational with brands in west African countries like Nigeria & Ghana. This is a big company that sponsored the 2012 Olympic games.

The headquarters of Deloitte is in New York City, USA. Deloitte gets the majority of its revenue from consulting and less from auditing.

McKinsey

McKinsey is one of the oldest and largest consultancy firms in the world. No company can be a KPMG competitor without having such a history. It was founded in 1926 and has grown to be known as a management consultancy company.

Mckinsey is popularly known for its strict employment process. It uses a test called Problem Solving Testing to hire candidates, which remains one of the company’s legacies.

After passing the Problem Solving Testing, Mckinsey still has about 2 or 3 other phases of interviews you will have to pass through before you can be certified.

Ernst & Young EY

Ernst & Young was recognized in India’s top 100 companies to work in 2019. This was due to the fact that EY helps her employees to grow, work, learn, and develop their skills.

Like Deloitte and other companies mentioned earlier, EY audits, tax, business risk, financial advisory, human capital services, and even security risk services.

Ernst & Young is among the top 4 in the management and professional consultancy industry. No wonder its clients are Alphabet, AT&T, and Verizon, among others.

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)

PricewaterhouseCoopers runs as a partnership under PwC brands as an international professional service firm. It is rated globally and considered the second largest accounting firm, making it one of the respected big 4 in the accounting industry.

Founded in 1998, PwC generates more than 45 billion USD revenue by offering tax advisory, business and financial advisory, e.t.c. To individuals, brands, organizations, and government agencies all around the globe.

Its purpose is to help communities, businesses, and organizations build trust and solve essential problems that will drive significant change.

Conclusion

Haven runs you through the competitors of KPMG. I believe you can now see that there are some Big boys running their professional services industry even though we have numerous brands in this sector.

However, the difference between KPMG and the other ones I mentioned is the fact that they are rumored to be more expensive than KPMG.
